To ensure the security of your transactions, we’ll be removing the BCH payment option from the cashier starting November 11th, returning it once the fork completes.
What do you mean; ‘Hard Fork’?
When the fork takes place, BCH as a network will become two separate chains, each with their own unique protocol. At this time BCH loses its ‘replay protection’ and becomes prone to replication errors from would-be fraudsters.
We’ll notify you immediately once the BCH network has been brought to consensus and the payment option is once again listed in your cashier.
What’s Important:
- All Bodog players and their accounts will remain secure throughout the duration of the fork. Any deposits previously made with BCH will also remain safe.
- Once the payment option is removed, any pending withdrawals in BCH will still be processed and sent.
- While network is reaching consensus, Bodog encourages you to keep any BCH securely in your wallet, and we always suggest a complex code or phrase to lock those details down.
- We also encourage you to hold off on making ANY BCH transactions before the network is brought to a consensus.
